...Legendary photographer Craig McDean shot the two covers and the stunning editorial inside. Tilda Swinton, with her alien-like looks and unique poise and demeanor, was a perfect choice for an issue depicting the future of British fashion. Designers such as Peter Pilotto, Louise Goldin, Craig Lawrence and Mary Katrantzou all made dresses solely for the issue. To accompany the piece Jefferson Hack interviewed Tilda, along with 35 of her contemporaries including Patti Smith and Viktor+Rolf. That sounds like an impressive contents!
